Government Teaching Jobs in KPK for Female 2026

Government Teaching Jobs in KPK for Female 2026 – Eligibility, Online Apply & Last Date

The short version

There is no single “KPK female teaching jobs” application. Female teachers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are hired through two separate channels, and applying through the wrong one wastes your fee:

If you want to teach in… You are hired by… Tested / recruited through…
Government schools (primary to higher secondary) Elementary & Secondary Education Department, KP ETEA — etea.online
Government colleges (Lecturer, BPS-17 and above) Higher Education Department, KP KPPSC — kppsc.gov.pk

Everything else in this guide follows from that split.

The school-teacher cadre ladder (know your post before you apply)

KP school posts are not all called “teacher.” Each cadre has its own grade, qualification floor and subject. Female candidates compete for the same cadres, in girls’ schools and, for some cadres, co-education postings:

  • PST — Primary School Teacher (BPS-12). Teaches classes 1–5. The entry point for most female candidates; historically the largest single block of seats in every recruitment round.
  • CT — Certified Teacher (BPS-15). Middle/secondary general teaching. Requires the CT professional certificate route or equivalent prescribed qualification.
  • SST — Secondary School Teacher (BPS-16). Split into SST (General), SST (Science) and SST (IT) — your degree subject decides which one you are eligible for; you cannot cross-apply.
  • DM, PET, TT, AT, Qari/Qaria. Specialist school cadres (Drawing Master, Physical Education Teacher, Theology Teacher, Arabic Teacher, Qari). Small seat counts, specific qualifications — often overlooked, which means less competition for eligible candidates.
  • SS — Subject Specialist (BPS-17). Teaches one subject at higher-secondary level in schools; requires a Master’s/BS in that exact subject.
  • Lecturer (BPS-17, via KPPSC). College-level. KPPSC has advertised female lecturer posts in subjects including Pashto, Political Science, Islamic Studies, Geography, Health & Physical Education and Computer Science in recent cycles.

Why this matters: the single most common reason female candidates lose their fee is applying to a cadre their degree doesn’t cover — for example, applying as SST (General) with a science degree, or as Subject Specialist in a subject different from their Master’s. Match the cadre to your transcript first, then apply.

What’s open right now (October 2026)

The big 2026 ETEA school-teacher round — over 12,000 posts across PST, CT, SST, DM, PET, TT, AT and related cadres, announced 20 August 2026 — closed for applications on 15 September 2026 and is now in the testing and merit-list phase. If you applied, your next step is not another form: watch etea.online for roll number slips, results and district merit lists, and keep your original documents ready for verification if your name appears. New ETEA education advertisements are announced on the same portal — check it directly rather than relying on forwarded screenshots of old ads.

How ETEA school recruitment works, step by step

School-teacher hiring runs through the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA):

  1. Register once at etea.online with your CNIC and a password. This account is reused for every project — keep the credentials safe; your roll number slips, results and merit lists are all tied to it.
  2. Find your project in the Latest Advertisements list and read the full ad, including any posted syllabus/paper composition, *before* paying anything.
  3. Apply per post. One application covers one post in one district/zone. If you want to apply for two cadres, that is two applications and two fees.
  4. Pay the fee the form specifies. ETEA’s published fee bands are: Rs 700 for BS-16 and below, Rs 900 for BPS-17, Rs 1,000 for BS-18 and above (Rs 900 where a physical test comes first). Pay exactly as your own application form instructs — the payment channel named in the form overrides any general guidance, including ours.
  5. You get one round of corrections to a submitted form, and only until the closing date. After that, what’s in the form is final — a wrong district or wrong cadre cannot be fixed.
  6. Download your roll number slip when announced, sit the screening test, and check results and merit lists on the same portal.

How merit is actually calculated (and why your documents matter)

Your ETEA test score is only part of your merit. KP education recruitment combines your test marks with an academic component calculated from your degrees/certificates, followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates. Two consequences candidates routinely miss:

  • A higher degree only helps if it’s the degree the cadre asks for. Extra qualifications outside the prescribed criteria may add nothing — and claiming marks for a degree you can’t produce at interview gets the whole application rejected.
  • Division/CGPA conversions are checked against your transcripts at interview. If the marks you entered online don’t match your documents, you are disqualified at the last stage, after passing the test. Enter exactly what your transcript says.

Exact weightages are notified with each recruitment’s rules, so confirm them in the ad you are applying under rather than relying on figures quoted for other departments.

KPPSC lecturer route — the differences that trip people up

If your target is a college lectureship, forget ETEA entirely:

  • Applications go through kppsc.gov.pk under a numbered advertisement; each ad has its own closing date and time (KPPSC deadlines are strict to the hour).
  • Lecturer posts are subject-locked: your Master’s/BS must be in the advertised subject. There is no “equivalent subject” assumption — equivalence must be formally recognised.
  • KPPSC selection involves its own screening (where held) and interview; the ETEA account, fee and roll number system play no part.

Documents to prepare now (before any ad appears)

Ads open and close fast; candidates who prepare documents in advance apply on day one:

  • CNIC (your own — applications are CNIC-based)
  • KP domicile certificate — school posts are district/zone-based; a domicile from the wrong district makes you ineligible for that district’s seats regardless of merit
  • All degrees and DMCs/transcripts, exactly as you’ll enter them online
  • Professional certificates where the cadre requires them (e.g., CT/ADE/B.Ed as prescribed for the post)
  • Recent photographs in the portal’s specified format
  • NOC if you are already a government employee

Scam warnings specific to KPK teacher recruitment

  • “Confirmed seat” agents. Every recruitment cycle, agents in Peshawar and district towns charge women for “guaranteed” teacher seats. No agent can influence ETEA marking or merit lists. If someone asks for money beyond the official fee paid through the form’s own channel, it is a scam.
  • Fake ETEA websites. Lookalike domains circulate during big rounds. The application portal is etea.online (agency site: etea.edu.pk). Type it yourself; don’t follow links from WhatsApp forwards.
  • Old ads recirculated as new. Screenshots of previous years’ advertisements — with thousands of seats — are reshared every cycle. If the ad isn’t in the Latest Advertisements list on the portal, it isn’t open.

Frequently asked questions

Is there one last date for KPK female teaching jobs 2026?
No. Every ETEA project and every KPPSC advertisement has its own closing date. Anyone quoting a single “last date” for all teaching jobs is guessing.

Can I apply for both a school post and a lecturer post?
Yes — they are separate systems (ETEA and KPPSC), with separate applications and fees.

I have a Master’s degree. Should I apply for PST?
Only if the ad’s criteria allow it and you accept BPS-12. Higher qualifications don’t raise a PST post’s grade, and overqualification rules are set per advertisement — read the eligibility box, not the job title.

Does the 2% / female quota apply?
Quotas (including minority and disabled quotas, and district/zone seat allocations) are notified per advertisement. Check the seat allocation table in the ad itself before assuming any quota applies to your district.

Where will I be posted if selected?
School posts are advertised against specific districts/zones and schools are allotted on merit within that allocation. You apply for a district knowing selection ties you to it.

Where to check — and how often

During an open round, check etea.online (schools) and kppsc.gov.pk (colleges) directly, at least weekly — roll number slips, test schedules and merit lists appear there first. Job sites like this one explain the system; the portals are the only places a vacancy is real.
